short story introMark is walking back to his home after school, just like any other day. Today however, would not be like any other day. Today something was going to happen, some life-altering event, which would shake the foundations of his world and begin a life long journey. Unbeknown to him thousands of years ago oracles prophesied what would happen this very day. A royal mining expedition recently entered in a new quarry and ancient ruins were found, ones dating exactly back to the time of these old oracles. The expedition happened to come across two small boxes and both were taken to be brought to thshort story intro
